IE windows:

With IEManager you can set rules to eliminate unwanted popups - set maximum number of IE windows at desktop and smallest size of windows.

At first page you can define maximum number of IE windows - custom limit. To activate limit use tray popup menu - you can set 0, 1, 2, 5, 10 or your custom limit.
Also you can check "Close minimized IE windows as popups" to close IE windows when minimize.
Note: with this feature you can close all IE windows with Win+M button!

Define maximum sizes for IE window - all smaller will be automatically closed (if height OR width is smaller).
Note: if Internet Explorer starts with very small size, use "Reset IE window placement" to restore defaults values.

Hint:It's convenient to activate/deactivate this mode in tray popup menu.
