Tray Safe provides users with backup and restoring functions for password files.

To execute backup of password file you need to open it. After it execute Main menu\File\Export&Import\Backup file or use shortcut Ctrl+B instead.
File will be copied into backup folder. Password will not be changed. Thus if you use hardware hash you cannot use backup files at another computers.

To restore backup files you can use Main menu\File\Export&Import\Restore from backup dialogue.



You can also set options for creating automatic backup before saving. This option is accessible at Option\Backup page.

Note:we recommend using read only mode as an alternative of backup procedure. You can easier access this option from Main menu\Options\Read only mode.
