Tray Safe server options

Tray Safe password manager: server options page

Note: This options' page is available only in business version (with client server interaction).
  • Start server at startup
    Checking this option is useful for passwords server. Checked option indicates to start password server with defined password file just after application start.
    Default: unchecked

  • Server port
    It defines server listing port. Ask network administrator about opened and allowed ports in your network to start server.
    Default: unchecked

  • User database file
    It defines password file for server after activation.
    More about password files you can read at page about decryption and encryption.
Note: to establish password server you need:
  • To start server (at startup or manually)
  • To select and setup password file
On any error client provides with error description - to check server settings you can try to connect to this password server as password client: create connection to localhost/defined server port and check result.
