To set reminded message for opened file use Main menu\File\Set reminded message.

To get a reminded message for file use Main menu\File\Remind password for file.

After getting a message you will be provided with possibility to open the password file.

You have an unlimited number of attempts to open the password file - Tray Safe will not block it after defined number of attempts because the encryption scheme is strong. Also Tray Safe avoids possible corruption of the password file with important information - you will be provided with a warning message if the file is corrupted by someone.
